Ken Kueker - Thursday, March 31, 2011
Multiple billboard companies posted an FBI Wanted Alert on digital billboards in several northeastern states.  The billboards included a composite sketch of the suspect along with a website and tip line phone number.  The billboards were posted on Monday, February 28th.  The tip that lead to his arrest was called in to that phone number the very same day!

Ken Kueker - Wednesday, March 23, 2011

With any type of advertising message and any type of advertising media, you have a very short amount of time to grab someone's attention.  If you don't grab their attention immediately, they will not have the opportunity to see the rest of your advertisement.

The Cost of Super Bowl Advertising

Ken Kueker - Thursday, February 10, 2011
The most commonly reported figure for the cost of advertising in this year's Super Bowl was $3 million, and the ratings show that 111 million people watched the game.  Assuming all of those people saw any particular ad, the cost-per-thousand impressions (CPM) works out to $27.03.

With several media products having a CPM of less than $5, outdoor advertising could take that $3 million and give you constant exposure for an entire year.

Outdoor Advertising Looks Strong For 2011 and Beyond

Ken Kueker - Wednesday, January 12, 2011

Before the recession, outdoor advertising (also known as out-of-home advertising) was one of the fastest growing forms of advertising in the country.  Outdoor advertising was growing at 7% to 10% per year, while many traditional media such as newspapers, TV, and radio were either shrinking or struggling to attain growth of 1% to 2%.

According to a recent news story in Ad-ology, Cinema and Outdoor Markets Look Strong for 2011 and Beyond, outdoor advertising looks to regain that strong positive growth starting in 2011.  What does this mean for you?

If there is any possibility you may be interested in trying one of the dozens of types of outdoor advertising, now is the time to take a serious look.  The lower pricing that has been available as a result of the recession is still available in many areas.  However, as more advertisers restart their outdoor campaigns, availability will go down and rates will go up.
